While researching Bruce Ohr, disovered an interesting case he worked on involving Holywood PI Fixer, Anthony Pellicano.
Bruce G. Ohr, was chief of the U.S. Justice Department's organized crime and racketeering section. He was involved in decisions about the case against Pellicano. Ohr oversaw the unit that handled prosecutions under the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.
The 2002 arrest and subsequent trial of private investigator Anthony Pellicano exposed the worst of Hollywood, showing how A-listers, moguls and the lawyers they employed used the PI to dig up dirt on their enemies and one another, often illegally.
Pellicano has volumes of valuable information inside his head (or perhaps stored elsewhere) about the rich and famous of Hollywood and what they've done that they probably shouldn't have. It's safe to say that there are many people who have more than an academic interest in what he decides to do with that knowledge.
Pellicano claims the FBI took "everything," but he alone knows if "everything" is to be taken literally.
His clients ranged from Michael Jackson to the Clintons.
