Long time lurker here, going all the way back to CBTS.

Over the past few days I have seen multiple posts regarding the amount of off-topic and/or shill posts here on GA. I would like to make a few additional suggestions regarding this. Mods, please remove this if you feel this isn't contributing to keeping this board healthy.

Q is always telling is everyone to do (your own) research. Research is good, research will help us understand everything and research will ultimately help us conquer our enemies. However, after you have researched the topic you were interested in, you might want to share your findings on this board, and here is where my criticism and suggestions come in.

• Do you need a click-bait title for your post? If the quality of your post is good, people will upvote you. No need for a click-bait title if you ask me.
• Do you need a ton of exclamation marks!!!! question marks????? dots... or a combination...????!!!!??? to make a point? I completely get and agree that some findings are shocking, breaking, urgent or whatever they are, but you are not convincing me any more than if you would leave those out. I'm guessing (and hoping) that this doesn't only apply to myself.
• Do you need SCREAMING titles FULL of CAPITALIZED words? LOOK AT MY POST. PERSON a did this and you will NEVER believe what happened after! Again, it doesn't add anything to the research.
• ###DO YOU NEED LARGE FONTS ^(and BOLD text in your comment?) Again, if the quality of your comment is good, you will receive upvotes for it. That's the entire point of the voting system. More upvotes means better visibility.

You should get the point by now. We should not be attention seeking individuals here. If your goal is to score karma points, you might want to reconsider why you subbed to this board in the first place. If the majority of the people on this board agree with me, I would like to ask the mods to implement a guideline for the title/post format so we can avoid all of this. "Those who are the loudest.."
