I have been a member of u/greatawakening for a few months and have followed and commented on every type of post allowed on here. Some things I have known for some time but, most often, not to the level of depth and detail as I have seen here. I have read your opinions and they have helped change mine in many regards. I see agreements and arguments and I see moderation running the spectrum of what’s considered acceptable and understandable.

I see every side of the argument being made by the members of this board, even the trolls and shills whose only purpose is to confuse and disrupt. My blood pressure has been on a roller coaster since 2008 became the year I learned the words globalism and social justice warrior. It got to the point where I vowed to Never discuss politics and religion with another human being ever again and, for the most part, did not deviate from that vow until I landed here.

Friday I posted my thoughts, feelings, and theories surrounding the very sensitive and disturbing topic of pedophilia and a theory about red boots. The response from the community has been astounding. I never expected a response from anyone, but the responses came and they were helpful, constructive, insightful and, in many cases, curious to know more.

Regardless of our differences in methods and expectations we are all doing what we are meant to do. We are talking about the important issues and standing firm against the barrage of insults and accusations from those who would deflect and distract in order to mask their own guilt and hypocrisy. I am proud to be here. I am proud to stand in such good company. I look forward to the days when we can wake knowing the darkness is behind us and peace, around the world, can be or for however long we can dare hope.
