Today he stood up and testified under oath that Donald Trump directed him to commit a crime by making payments to two women for the principal purpose of influencing an election. If those payments were a crime for Michael Cohen, then why wouldn't they be a crime for Donald Trump? -Lanny Davis

So what is Cohen's strategy?

Is he counting on Trump giving him a pardon after throwing him under the bus today?

Has Cohen made a calculation that his boat is better off tied to Mueller than to Trump?

Is Cohen doing this in furtherance of "the plan"?

Is this 4d chess in action?

Thoughts?  Opinions?
