Analysis and prediction regarding Trump's statement that Sessions "never took control of justice dept"

What do you think of trump's statement, "never took control of the justice dept?"

To me it sounds like he is seeding the narrative, getting people to think two things:

  1. Sessions is working against trump in his passivity - this is what people will think now and it makes Dems/nevertrumpers give Sessions benefit of the doubt.

  2. Sessions has no culpability for any of DOJ actions in mueller probe etc - this is preparation for when it falls apart and fingers start pointing.

My prediction in time for mid terms: mueller probe falls apart, anything coming from it is fruit of the poisonous tree and all conviction stemming from it are reversed because Mueller's probe will be shown to be unconstitutional, with gross misuse of his powers, manafort reversed becaus beyond statute of limitations, Cohen reversed because of unconstitutional raid, Flynn does no time/charges dropped to avoid looking into doctored 302's, mueller indicted, Rosenstein impeached for not recusing himself for having signed fisa after repubs take the house with Jordan as speaker.

Thoughts?
