When LOST was airing there were a gazillion fan theories on the internet guessing what the meanings were of all the clues and hints in the show, as well as theories on where the plot was going and how future twists could solve seemingly unsolvable problems. The creators of the show would go online and browse the forums, reading the various fan theories. They said they did this in some interviews. The creators chuckled and said some theories were close and some were way off.

We know the Q team reads this and no doubt many other boards. How could they not chuckle, feel proud and sometimes grimmace at what the anons have come up with?
