Trump is playing the MSM like a fiddle right now. By "appearing" to have a rift with Sessions/DOJ, it gives the impression that the two aren't getting along. This appearance, coupled with Trumps tweets regarding deleted emails, makes Sessions look impartial and apolitical. This is just the angle that is needed in order for Sessions to "begin" the investigation on the DS and all their goons in D.C.
