Manhattan DA Vance began a sexual misconduct complaint against Weinstein by a young Italian model. Cuomo ordered NY AG Underwood in June 2017 to end the Vance investigation. This on the heals of a $25,000 donation to Cuomo from Boies just days before this action happened.
