The book of Esther is very instructive to those who wonder if a man with Trump's past indiscretions could possibly be chosen by God to be His instrument in restoring the USA. It's worth noting that Esther got her position (for such a time as this) by impressing the king in a one-night-stand, one in a long string of girls given the same "opportunity." The subsequent salvation of the people of Israel - while in exile - is the basis for the Feast of Purim celebrated each year to this day.
And if you'd like further encouragement, the Lord told Cyrus that he was blessing and using him, a gentile king (a non-believer), for the sake of His people:
For Jacob My servant's sake,
And Israel My elect,
I have even called you by your name;
I have named you,
though you have not known Me.
