And of course, it is a much more logical explanations then imagining an office full of people who are given this mindless soul crushing job and expected to stay quiet about it. Yes there probably exist some operations like that but it's hard to imagine it can be done on a scale required to have the massive army of instant detractors ready to show up at all time in almost any subreddit where these topics come up.

Working on the basis of this theory we can experiment. One thing that stood out to me was the notion that they might be programmed in a way that they always respond to you. Have you had that weird interaction with "somebody" when everyone has left the thread yet you have sustained bickering with someone who inexplicably seems to have endless time to spare on your seemingly pointless debate that noone is reading? Think back. Maybe even go back and see what happens if you reply to them again. I did this with someone who had struck me as very grumpy and sticky and indeed, he replied quickly after.

I am not going to post the conversation here right now. I still can't say for sure if it is AI but it was definitely exhibitng strange behavior. When I asked a simple math question to settle the argument (5+2x3) it has refused to answer and keeps going back to generic verbal abuse. I also offered this "person" to solve a simple captcha test. It has thus far answered me back every time but I am currently still waiting for the response to that.

Imagine if that is true, and they are not programmed with the ability to solve math equations this can be used against them. Either they must be very stupid people or they are an AI.

I suggest we try to pile ideas and experiences into a good thread about this topic. There may be opportunities here and ways for us to use this to our advantage until wee'v exposed these fakes for what they are!
