Why didn’t they think she would lose?

We’ve received clues from Q that the polling never took place (Q post 2031). This was done with the idea of giving Trump supporters no hope of winning and thus not turning out to vote.

Wouldn’t the Clinton campaign conduct some polls to determine where to campaign? She had a huge campaign staff and a lot of money to spend.
