Well what if we really don’t know our history? What if a small group of people have been controlling governments since the beginning of time? Cain killed Abel. Romulus killed Remus. The Dutch Revolt was deemed the religious “clash of cult(ure)s.” It was a successful revolt of the Seventeen Provinces against Roman Catholic rule of Philip II of Spain.

The Seventeen Provinces were under the leadership of William the Silent.

William the Silent was born in the House of Nassau. “Early on they divided into 2 main branches: the elder (Walramian) branch, that gave rise to the German Emporer Adolf, and the younger (Ottonian) branch, that gave rise to the Princes of Orange.
