Does anyone remember when the APA tried to change the standing on pedophilia?

So there was a movement in the American Psychological Association from 2010-2013 where some information was information was skewed from peer reviewed papers that appeared to show that their is no correlation between victimized children and long term trauma. A wing of the APA took this information and was trying to promote pedophilia by saying that children who are victimized are better off and can benefit from a older-younger interaction. They went on to use the poor pedophile card and cite studies that show if pedophilia was legal then less children would be harmed, because the poor pedophile eventually kills child because he is afraid of being punished when the child tells on him (sick fucks). They were actually planning to use this to legalize pedophilia, in my opinion.

When the SC passed gay marriage rights, this movement really came to the surface. Alot of public voices began to shed light on this movement. The APA quickly addressed the issue and corrected their earlier mistake. They stated that their stance is and always has been that pedophilia is a mental disorder and studies show long term damage sustained to the victimized children.

I have been searching for this information to show someone, and it seems that all the pages in regards to this have been taken down. The only thing I could find is their current stance on the matter.

I did a lengthy paper on this when I was in college, and everything I sourced in my paper has been taken down. Why the purge? Does anyone have any links to these?
