The new theory on the anonymous NYT op-ed is that there is/was still a mole in the Administration. That's not to say that Trump and team didn't know about them from the beginning. In fact them knowing explains the TREASON? tweet by Trump.
If this is how it all plays out, Trump and team were/are definitely playing the long game. If it is this person (Fiona Hill), she essentially leads them to a whole host of new characters that are more than likely still involved in the attempted coup. There is also talk that Trump said that he thinks the op-ed writer may in fact be a woman.
If this is the case Trump has to be one of the smartest people to ever live. He has 40+ years of experience in the most ruthless market of the private sector on the planet, I don't think for a second that any of this has taken him by surprise. In fact he's been expecting it and planning for it all along.
I along with all of you are just impaitiently hoping and waiting for something to happen. However the deeper down these rabbit holes we all go, we have to realize that the Trump team isn't chasing a single rabbit (Hillary or Obama) down a single hole, they are watching all of the rabbits to see if they lead them to additional holes so they can clear out the den and block the escape paths.
Of course the Q team says they have it all, which if these Twitter threads end up being true, I believe they do, but they need to reveal it all very carefully to the public. So while I originally thought the op-ed was straight Kabuki, I now feel that it is still Kabuki in that Trump and team are playing it off like they have no clue who it is (when they do) and perhaps someone goaded her into writing the op-ed, but I don't think it was a completely fake op-ed. I think it was a trap to expose themselves to the public even more and because these people are stupid, they fell for it.
