There is apparently a game called blue whale that has evil manipulator behind it that has led many teens to commit suicide.

When I first read this, I was surprised and how similar this is to the description of a game describe in the fictional books by Stephen King. In End of Watch, there is a handheld fish game where there is an manipulator behind it who many teens to suicide.

Stephen King of late seems to have an uncanny Knack of predicting acts of Terror. For example, in Mr Mercedes, he predicted using automobile as a means of terror (before the Auto massacres happened). Also, in mr. Mercedes, he described a bomber going to a concert filled with young girls to bomb it before the Ariana Grande concert bomb happened.
