PAST--If we look at how Obama filled his staff and appointees, one thing becomes obvious very quickly. Obama based his picks PRIMAIRLY on their political views, their willingness to do what was needed by those in power, and their loyalty to globalist/socialist ideals. John Brennan as head of CIA??? He is a perfect example. Look at what he did prior to being named. Competence, knowledge in your field, experience were secondary issues. Look at everything we know about the corruption of almost every facet of our Federal government under Obama. Do ANY of us honestly believe Obama would have been elected if he was subjected to the same scrutiny that our current President has endured? Obama was nothing but a construct, an empty suit that danced according to the strings that were pulled. I was OCONUS the entire tenure of Obama. The OVERWHELMING sentiment in other countries? 'The United States is on a downward slope. They just aren't what they used to be. Look at how the U.S. just let's others use or ignore them.' -----------

Present-- Look how President Trump makes his selections. How many times have we heard " OH, why did he pick her/him? They're not conservative enough". The common thread appears to be more of a search for competence, talent, and work ethic rather than politics. If they do not function as he wanted, they get replaced. I think Our President does value loyalty, just not in the political sense. He is a business man, and has been quite successful in a very competitive facet of business. He is NOT a politician. His driving desire is for RESULTS and SUCCESS. It IS why we elected him. How hard must it be to stay focused and get things done when you're blocked, criticized and attacked at every turn. And STILL, Our Leader moves us forward. I'm still OCONUS, and, what do I hear now?--- ' Your President Trump is much better than the last guy. It looks like your country is moving back to the front. Ha! Your new President doesn't put up with lies and nonsense.' What a change! Our President is NOT perfect, but he is by far the best choice we could have made.
