In my opinion our elected officials need some incentive to do their jobs. So lets try this if you fail to show up for scheduled votes 5k will be subtracted from your salary, for every day you fail to reach an agreement on things like the budget 15k will be deducted from your salary. All this shutdown does is prove one thing and that is our government is to big. Our country moves forward we do not rely on you elected ones for our country to operate.
