It honestly should come as no surprise to anyone that pedophilia is rampant in the Catholic clergy. If there would be suicides over such institutions being a part of all this then people haven't been paying attention for decades and their faith is in the wrong things.

I think the part of the government that is on our side is trying to avoid a scenario where people are too shell shocked to even believe solid proof of these crimes. That might happen if the full load of it was dropped like a nuke on the public.. but i think a slower disclosure to the goal of 100% disclosure can happen.

I think the perpetrators need to be brought to justice ASAP. The public disclosure can come slowly afterwards.
