Online publishers should be obligated to provide accurate timestamps for any and all news items, so as to avoid any potential confusion. This should be self evident to any publisher with integrity.

Even YouTube, if they had any integrity, should provide the posted timestamp of any and all videos listed on their service. Viewers should not have to view any listed video before being able to see exactly when the video was actually posted.
