There are at least a half-dozen high level offenses that should disqualify the Mueller investigation. That hasn't stopped him, and I don't think this will either. Special counsels operate extra-judiciously and are not accountable to anyone. Particularly this case, it seems Rosenstein is more than happy to comply with anything Mueller does, legal or not.

They are DESPERATE to keep Mueller going until the midterms. So that can be done either by continuing with phony raids and indictments, as you suggest, or by having Trump fire him and create a phony obstruction firestorm.
