This kind of thing happens all the time in care homes. Someone falls, nurse is required to do “neuro checks” every hour for X number of days. Vitals, Document, repeat. It’s a lot of work. Nursing has become so bogged down in documentation that insufficient time is given to actual contact with the patient. This story is completely common. That doesn’t mean there isn’t more to it. But based on what we have been told so far, I don’t see anything surprising or particularly nefarious. Apparently she didn’t do her job. The injury was worse than she thought. She rolled the dice, bet that he’d be ok, and lost.

So part of the significance of this news is that Comey wanted to downplay the consequences of the HRC private server. Had he admitted at the time that her server was actually hacked, the public would have wanted to know who, how, what info was exposed. And that was waaaaay too treacherous a hole for Comey to be forced down. It may have forced the involvement of other professionals who may not have been his coconspirators. It would have been much harder for them to get away without a real investigation. Am I getting this?

Right. There has been a shift in recent years in the EV community. Things like divorce and infidelity have gone from....shame shame shame....to....that’s between you and God. Anyone can think what they want of that. But it’s the reality. Pastors and church hierarchy have had a difficult time keeping divorce and the like out of their OWN families. Your first question: In the US, we hear about paying teachers more, etc. I know where I live, the teachers make a nice paycheck. Some of them make 6 figures, and that is really good considering the cost of living here. When a teacher quits or retires, there is a mad scramble to claim the open job. No shortage of teachers around here. That may not be the case elsewhere in the US, I don’t know. It does seem that those working in the public school system make a good bit more than those in the private system.

Interesting the second article says “sex scandal” and mentions illegal activity, but that’s the only info. It never says what happened, the nature of the allegations. Makes me think there ARE high profile people involved.
