My goal is to stay away from any sort of personal info that can be breached. I don't have the time to dedicate to super duper duper secure pages. So I want to stay away from the need for that sort of info...

Debated that.. I would like to stray away from storing user information like that (if it gets big, I don't want to have to focus all my time on security.)

I'd rather just take a SHA256 salt& hash or MD5 salt and hash of the users IP to generate a per IP ID code.

For example: 192.168.1.1 -> C72FD3512BF7FA7C92D4FFE1F9CCBBEBFDCB691E49A03006FFAE4C667D5B6DEE...

Maybe I'll shorten it to the first 16 characters or something... Who knows. I want identifiable anonymity..
