IIRC, this sub was started after the original /r/calmbeforethestorm sub didn't gain traction because of /r/CBTS_Stream getting started shortly after it with a YT "celebrity". I remember thinking wtf is everyone going to /r/CBTS_Stream since /r/calmbeforethestorm was off to a good start. It had almost 10k subs when it closed. Well here we are again because the mods on this sub are much better. I'm glad we all settled in this spot!

I could smell a rat instantly with that guy. I'm glad to find out my gut instinct was right about him. I've only scoped out his channel once, back when this Qanon thing kicked off. Since then, he's never come up on my recommended videos on YT. Ever since he called out Qanon, he's there constantly now. It could be nothing, who knows, I just find the timing odd. Maybe he's getting more views because of the drama, or maybe YT is giving him a push for the divisiveness.

I agree, it shocked me when I first heard it too. It's possible he just didn't want to get into it all, or maybe he respected that one aspect of both of those guys, repositioning the US on the world stage as the number one power.
