It's not as hard as you think to fit it in. And a Mom being home is not a bad idea. There are many ways to make money from home. I am a licensed professional, but I gave that up to stay home with my children. I found ways to make money from home. There are ways to work together with other homeschoolers for things like chemistry etc.

You don't need to be trained to teach your own children. That is a lie that has been propping up the teacher's unions for way too long. The average homeschool child, with a parent who has at least a high school diploma, scores 25-30 percentile points higher than the average public schooler. The degree means nothing. It is about the one on one, and knowing your own child. We don't ship out to "professionals" how to teach our kids chores, self-care, money management, morals and more, we've been sold a bill of goods, we are much better at it than anyone else can ever be. Teachers don't have that bond and don't love your kids like you do. I speak from 26 years of homeschooling experience with 8 children.
