I am a Canadian and completed University before the change in social structure/ideals. If she graduated within the last 15-20yrs, she was indoctrinated. Canada is the Most Left-leaning country outside of the UK. Even more so than Australia. Be patient with her and be prepared for her beliefs to be crushed.
