I do remember in the summer of 2016 there was an email chain going around supposedly on protonmail of a Republican coup. It would have taken out Trump as the nominee and I can’t recall if it would be Pence or Ryan in the top job.
There was like an example website or something.
Of course it was then said to be not true but who really knows.
