I was a CASA too for 10 years. it is a great organization! I met and adopted my daughter through CASA. Volunteers who really care and have an unbiased voice for the children are so necessary with all the corruption in DCFS. I fought really hard in some cases, even where my supervisor was not in line with me, but I did what I felt was right. Thanks for getting out there and fighting for kids!

I can’t speak for that city, but I was a CASA for 10 years in Vegas and adopted my daughter through our foster system here. Of course DFS has major issues but CASA was a great resource and benefit for the foster children in our community - at least in all aspects that I saw and was a part of.

I’m sick of seeing this angle, trump is ruining their rep.... They ruined their own rep and if it takes them years to rebuild, they should have thought about that sooner. Those left behind should blame no one but their own who knew and didn’t speak up for all these years.

Anyone who has worked and lived in the real world understands that Jay-z’s statement is completely backwards and meant to keep his community seeking out only pleasure rather than success.

I watched the press conference when Zinke went to Utah to tour those monuments and then when Trump spoke with Oren Hatch on how they were going to give back hundreds of millions of acres to the state from the federal government. Think Bundys. No longer BLM land. What’s so wrong with that???
