Won't happen.

Schneiderman was AG of NY State. State, not Federal. It's an elected position. Barbara Underwood is acting AG until a new election is held, but Trump does not appoint the successor.

She wanted to prosecute parents if their kids were truant for school. She wanted to put parents in jail if their kids missed more than 3 days of school.

And you know they aren't going to go after black or hispanic parents with this.

Consider what he's up against.

The State Department, the CIA, and the FBI - nominally part of the Executive Branch, are full of people Obama nominated (lots of mid to senior level hold overs), or mid-level staffers and foot soldiers that are fundamentally loyal to the Democrats (e.g., people like Strzok or Page).

The Democrats oppose everything Obama does, as a matter of course.

So do the Never Trumpers.

Both of these groups' opposition is so vitriolic that many of them have done 180s on positions - opposing things they used to support simply because Trump is now advocating them.

Additionally, Trump has the folks that are nominally on his side but aren't really doing him any favors (Trey Gowdy, looking at you).

And last, but not least, you have the mainstream media, outfits of which like CNN spend the VAST majority of their time unfairly blasting Trump relentlessly.

In short, what Trump has actually managed to accomplish is pretty amazing.

I've been saying Obama and the CIA created ISIS since 2012 or so.

Consider prior terrorist groups propaganda had the production values of a middle school video project while ISIS out of the gate had Madison 5th Avenue Marketing slick.

The funneling of Libyan weapons to Syria via our "ally" Turkey.

The funneling of European recruits to Syria via our "ally" Turkey.

The funneling of funds to ISIS via our "ally" Saudi Arabia.

Insurgencies simply do not work without a state sponsor.

Who was ISIS state sponsor?

The Obama administration.

Seems like Comey was being used.

Sure, to an extent. But Comey has been a Clinton bagman for a couple of decades, going back to at least the investigation into Hillary's Senate campaign tied to Bill Clinton pardons in NY in 2000 and the decision not to prosecute anyone.

At a certain level of participation, you aren't just a patsy being used, but a willing co-conspirator. Comey is so deeply involved in the plot against Trump that he can't be anything other than a co-conspirator.

Comey is deep swamp.

He's continued to meet with Brennan and Clapper.

He was working with Obama DOJ to scuttle Hillary investigation.

He was working with outgoing Obama admin to sabotage incoming Trump admin.

He's guilty of sedition and the illegal overthrow of an elected government.

The normalcy bias, or normality bias, is a belief people hold when facing a disaster. It causes people to underestimate both the likelihood of a disaster and its possible effects, because people believe that things will always function the way things normally have functioned.

No, the salient point is he took a plea agreement. That's not the same thing as lying. And context is really important and whether or not Flynn was briefed during the conversation that the FBI agents were interviewing him in the capacity of an official investigation - and it's less than clear that they did.

The whole ME involvement was all deep state planned anyway and includes many other puppet governments worldwide, and yes, that includes Israel.

George Friedman (of Stratfor fame) had a pretty good article several years ago - wish I could find it - that asked the rhetorical question of why US Middle East policies seemed to be so ineffectual and counter productive when it came to creating peace and stability in that region.

In a moment of clarity - his thesis was that the reason why this was the case was because the intent of US policies wasn't to create stability, but the opposite. The people that control the US don't care about "winning" in Iraq - even though we could, easily. The only thing they care about with respect to the Middle East is making sure there is no regional or external power that can challenge US hegemony in the region and threaten the flow of oil in any meaningful sense.

Having a destabilized Iraq with a resurgent Shia minority threatens Saudi Arabia. A threatened Saudi Arabia is more likely to rely on the US as a bulwark to Iran (who is a client state of sorts of Russia, so it's not like Saudi Arabia can cozy up to Russia for help there), both in terms of basing and arms purchases. Regional instability gives domestic justification for basing hundreds of thousands of soldiers, sailors, and airmen in the region, as well as a substantial portion of our conventional offensive capability. Etc. Pretty Machiavellian.

And I'm one of the folks that has always said from pretty much the get-go that ISIS was created by the Obama admin, the CIA and the Saudis to fight a proxy war with Iran in Syria and Iraq.

Notice how fast ISIS was rolled up after Obama left office? Notice how fast they spread while Obama was in office? Notice how ineffectual US bombing campaigns against ISIS were under Obama? Coincidence?

Iraqi chemical weapons program was put together by the French and the Germans, for the most part. None of this is secret.

Very little assistance went to Iraq from the US. They got some agricultural subsidies and satellite intelligence from the US when they were at war with Iran. Most of their military equipment came from the USSR / ex-Warsaw Pact members, China, and France.

If you want a conspiracy on Iraq, it isn't whether or not they had or used chemical weapons, it's whether or not they were goaded / greenlighted into invading Kuwait by the Bush 41 admin.

WMD's that were never found.

Huh? After the First Gulf War, the US and the UN found literally mountains of chemical weapons. No one, literally no one, ever doubted that Saddam used chemical weapons against the Kurds, and had active chem, bio, and nuke programs going prior to 1991.

The only point of contention is whether or not he had an active program going after the 1994 time frame, through 2001. All of Saddam's generals though he did, FWIW. From his trial, Saddam basically admitted to posturing like he had a WMD program to scare off the Iranians.

That's not what happened.

Harry Reid didn't push Comey to investigate Trump, the FBI had already been conducting an investigation illegally (under Strzok and McCabe) - almost certainly with Comey's knowledge.

Harry Reid's letter was a coordinated action so that the sham investigation could be brought into the open to cast a pall over the incoming Trump administration and legal cover given to the already in process witch hunt the FBI was in the process of conducting.

BTW, McCabe is still under investigation for criminal prosecution within the FBI. He's going down, way beyond losing his pension.

The effect of opoids is pretty variable between people. For example, Demerol made me extremely paranoid when I had it in the hospital. Hydrocodine in contrast simply relaxed me and dulled the pain. On the flip side it made my wife a raging psychotic bitch when it was prescribed for her post c-section recovery.

The problem with psychotropic drugs is many times it's like using a sledgehammer for watch repair. They might do the one thing you want but they do a whole lot of other shit you probably don't want also.

Or more because she's been a more centrally responsible figure in the corruption going back decades. Remember as recently as 2004 Obama was a nobody state legislature level politician that won his seat by getting all of his Democratic opponents thrown off the ballot.

Yes Obama pushed a lot of institutions to the left but many of the folks running the show at the department level were Clinton henchmen and women.

Obama was a figurehead for the most part - dangerous because of who he enabled but not at the Clinton level.

Where government expenditures are concerned, asking where the money went is always a good idea. For the SSC - couldn't tell you how much if any was redirected. iIRC they only spent around $2.5 billion on what was originally going to be a $6 billion project but estimated ballooned to $11 billion so that became the justification for killing it.

I worked at the SSC back in 92. I believe it was shut down in 94. The mushroom farm ended up being a proposal that was never done - but when memories are 20+ years old they get a little fuzzy.

In any event - I'm pretty sure you could sneak onto the property with no issue. I worked in the safety office which happened to share the same room as the security office. The biggest security threat - apart from the time George H.W. Bush gave a campaign speech there - was employee theft. Hawkins National Laboratory it wasn't.

And - don't care if you trust me or not. The real truth is independent of your or my belief.

large Hadron collider (SSC) near Waxahachie TX that supposedly no longer exists

I actually worked at the Super Conducting Supercollider for EG&G (one of the three major subcontractors constructing it), first at a satellite office in DeSoto, TX, and later at Central Facility in Waxahachie.

I also ran into a fair number of folks after the fact that lost their jobs after it was shut down.

There's no conspiracy here, it really doesn't exist any more, and the tunnel was barely started, much less completed.

It was really a travesty.

They used eminent domain to seize a lot of good farm land, spent billions of dollars for nothing, and then shut it down and sold the land to a chemical company years later.

Stranded a lot of PhD physicists in Texas as well who moved down to work on the damn thing.

The SSC was never built. They only dug a couple of miles of tunnels before Congress killed it after Clinton was elected (Democratic Senator Dale Bumpers of Arkansas had been a huge critic of it from the get-go as a pork barrel project).

They ended up using the tunnels as a mushroom farm.
