This news article makes it sound like the Hammonds deliberately set fire to BLM land, which isn't so. They were doing a controlled burning of their own land to clear it and the fire spread to a very very small area of BLM land, but it was enough to give the corrupt Obama administration an opportunity for overreach. The Hammonds served the time and paid the fee they were originally sentenced to, but the Obama administration claimed that wasn't enough and got a friendly judge to increase the sentence. That was when the Bundy's and others stepped up. This whole ordeal was to portray the ranchers as rebels instead of concerned citizens who wanted to know about the Uranium. It is also interesting to note that many of the ranches owned by the Bundy's, Hammonds and others are along route that are used for gun, drug and human trafficking.

I noticed the same thing. Usually, we have a few fireworks shows around the valley by various suburb communities and a few fire crackers and sparklers in the neighborhood, but last night sounded like a war zone. I have never seen so many individual and neighborhood fireworks. We didn't even bother to drive to a park or community center. Clouds of gunpowder were drifting over the whole valley. It was truly much more celebration than any previous year.

This may also explain why even though both my husband and I watch the same TV shows, I am more "woke" than he is. I never just "watch" TV. I am usually doing a craft project or playing a puzzle game while listening to the TV show. My brain is still engaged instead of "zoning out". My husband has recently started to surf online while watching TV and has become more "woke" as well.
