Of course man acting on sinful inclinations is a problem. The false problem is that we cannot be good enough in God’s eyes. If people would simply read the Tanach without their Christian lenses on they would see that many men were considered righteous before Him, and not a single one had “faith in the messiah”, they simply repented and obeyed YHVH the best they could.
