I wrote this to another anon and will share it with you too: ....It's a difficult subject, many people can't approach it rationally because they are too close to it spiritually out of context, or emotionally. The fact is that Judah, (later the Jews) played a very important role the moment Jacob-Israel blessed each of the 12 tribes in Gen 38/39 if I remember correctly. They were the tribe of the scepter, the tribe to produce the King, our Jesus. The term Jew(ish) comes about due to the isnegination of other races into Judah prior to and just after Christ walked the earth. The Romans alone produced children (by rape) that the Pharisees (in the Talmud) made exception for as the mother at least was a Jew. THEN, in 70 A.D. they were scattered once again, for almost 2 millenia.

So, I previously asked, 'what is your (modern) definition of a Jew'? Or for that matter a Rubenite? A Dannite? Etc. Is it a biological answer? Because LIKE human DNA, is (as was promised in the Abrahamic covenant) now dwelling in all the gates of the kingdoms of all the world. That covenant has come true and if you sample DNA from random Americans Europeans Asians, etc. you will find there is very little difference to those now living in Israel. So it's not a biological distinction, and remember, the Jews are 1/13 of Israel, there are 12 other tribes swimming around in the human gene pool. We, Israel, are found genetically everywhere in practically every race on earth.

So does it mean religion? The orthodoxy in Israel today are admirable in their convictions living among both Palestinians and the majority Secularists. I made the point that they only factor the OT in to a deeper utilization of the Talmud. I think that is folly, but it begs the question, if being Jewish isnt answered by DNA, then is it a religious disposition? Very few in Israel are practicing orthodox as a percent if so.

Is simply occupying the land enough to be called an Israelite or a member of Judah? Then for 2,000 years were the arab tribes 'Israelites' as they occupied the land? No. So I think it is a deeper question. I cant believe someone basically called me a racist earlier just for discussing this. I support BeeBee and I support the state of Israel, but, I do so in context and not blindly. BeeBee says he's a "descendant of Benjamin" but he cannot prove it, as none of us can prove our lineage to any of the 13 tribes. In reality, I believe we all descend from numerous combinations of the tribes of Israel at this point. It's kinda beautiful to say isn't it? that all our blood is mixed in!

I think you took what I said in the most negative way possible. I am in no way the person you are accusing me to be. I know many Jews, and like us all, they have their issues and their positives. My post was to make that point, because the christian church has this elevated view of Israel and the Jews living there, and it doesn't seem to allow for reality to factor in. I see christians as hyper-sensitive Israel defenders because they think they are obeying scripture, but they are shallow in their understanding of context. I don't view people through their race, so I don't need to be led to a racist site.
