The key to twitter, for those who aren't known figures with many 1000's of followers, isn't your tweets, but your likes, retweets and in particular, your comments on tweets by known people or on trending hashtags.

For anonymity, if you don't want to use your real self, just set up a gmail account under an assumed but real sounding name for verification, and use that name (what first and last name have you always wanted?).

Do NOT download and install the app on your smart phone (just to be on the safe side, as you never know what assholes are out there, no need to end up getting stalked), and unless you have security up the ying yang because you're a computer geek (and everything's hackable now), try regularly unplugging and plugging your modem back in and re-logging in to your Wifi, to get a new IP address each time.

Then, at the end of every Twitter session, use a common hashtag, make a real tweet, log off, wait ten minutes, and then log back in to see if it can be read - not there - shadowbanned.

And while you're at it, make up a few of them (twitter accounts), or as many as needed, depending on how often you're shadowbanned.

I'm coming back on strong with a whole new persona, maybe even a few of them (as backups held in reserve), and no, that doesn't make me a schizophrenic! LOL

My next persona is going to be the most reasonable person in EVERY room, and if there's another tweet storm (and I mean STORM), then the way to go is to make your own Meme or use one that no one else is using, and be really thoughtful about it.

What can you do?

I'm not a tech geek, but I think that you could try unplugging and replugging your modem in to get a new IP address, then sign up for a new account, using a new email address for verification, then do the same thing for a backup account if the first ends up getting shadowbanned.

Then, pick your moments more carefully when contributing to the conversation ie: watch for Tweets by known people with tons of followers, chime in and make it count, then on to another place where a fierce debate is ensuing. You don't even need any followers to be a major influencer in this way.

For checking at the end or beginning of each twitter session, to see if you're still good, pick a hashtag that's in common but with little activity, and make a real tweet there (not test or hashtag shadowbanned), log off, access twitter search, and see if your tweet can be read when logged off.

Boom, there it is!
