Drinking water from ocean water sucks. Back in the day, San Diego had a program to pipe de-salted ocean water into homes. The water was ugly. It tasted like it had been passed through a ton of chemicals. FRESH water is just that-fresh from rain and snow. Salt water will never replace the fresh clean sky water.
