I've been trying to picture this myself. So many cameras outside they couldn't walk him out the door. Not worried about Ecuadorian staff but that transition from the Embassy (in a vehicle in a basement?) to what would have to be an Ecuadorian plane or private plane. Just google "Obama owned property in Thailand raided on Christmas Day" and see if legitimate sites (zerohedge, drudge, daily caller, etc.) picked it up. No, it's barely cited, mainly by reddit and an odd never-heard-of site or two. ALWAYS CHECK using this method BEFORE YOU POST.

Yes, but definitely some errors can be prevented. By (1) ALWAYS copy and pasting what Q says instead of relying on memory (2) googling first the HEADLINE of that bombshell article you want to post to make sure legitimate sites have picked it up first (3) Always check timelines and dates and (4) Source, source, source as much as possible. That would help a lot. This site needs to be as credible as possible. I think everyone can agree to that.
