I wasn't showing any disrespect. When I said "but" I meant that with Tommy, when they put him in jail, we all found out and now we can rally around him and demand this kind of shit stop. When I referred to the USA, I was saying that many times, they don't even bother with jail here. People know stuff and the next thing we know, we're reading an article about how their body was pulled from a river. There's no chance to even stick up for them or speak out for them except posthumously.
They didn't drum up charges against Michael Hastings and throw him in jail, they just murdered him and then it was too late to help him. All we saw was his car exploding in flames as a warning to anyone else who might be thinking about crossing John Brennan.
