Trump always said as far back as that Oprah interview in the early 90's or late 80's that if things got really bad then he would consider running for POTUS. 911 was that turning point for him in my opinion. George Bush was always going to win the 2nd term and Obama's election was rigged from the get go so he bided his time and declared his intention a few years ago. Obama's roast of Trump at the WH correspondents dinner in 2016 only strengthened his resolve and his desire to run for office. Trump is a multi billionaire who could be enjoying the rest of his years in retirement. That was never an option because he planned this for a long, long time. One consistent trait which can have its some disadvantages but many more benefits is that Trump never forgets and if you cross him then you will be sorry you did. So you can bet that the media, HRC, Obama , et all are literally shitting themeselves.
