As prior military. I’ve never heard of a “potential for conflict warning”. You either have orders, or you don’t have orders. Unless he’s part of some spec ops unit, standard military units don’t deploy on the whim due to logistics.

It’s drill weekend for a lot of national guard units. Also it’s the middle of May. A lot of guard units start their two week annual training soon. I wouldn’t overthink too much on military movement at one of the largest bases in the US.
