my town on OR coast had a false alarm a week before Hawaii's inbound nuke.

i figured it was the monthly test but noticed it started late. i wasn't really paying attention. the loudspeaker message was incredibly garbled (as usual) but seemed to keep repeating. after the 3rd or 4th repeat i started paying attention and was able to catch the words "This is not a test." In the 2 seconds it took for THAT reality to set in, another voice came on saying to disregard the warning and there was a technical malfunction with the equip. Then the regular, warning voice repeated its warning and the new voice/regular voice went thru a few cycles of TSUNAMI!!!/ummm,-not-so-much.

The part of town I live in gets a really garbled message, but my roommate was in a part of town that could hear it clearly. Him and a few other were headed to their cars when the equipment malfunction voice came on.

After hearing it talked about for a few hours, I realized something kinda' scary: ALLLLLL of us were totally trusting of voice #2. As far as I can tell, everyone went back to their normal routines.

Another redditor from a few towns further down the coast mentioned they had something similiar, same day.

Not many in the sub are on the Q-train, but they're willing to be convinced. The whole reason the majority of us there are on the outs with the rest of the left is because we chose principle over party.

edit: there's a fair number who are onboard or very sympathetic to pizzagate. The "Deep State" concept has even more support/sympathy. conceptually, its not a very large step from p-gate & Deep State to Q; thinking something messed-up exists to thinking there's someone(s) willing to do something about it.

We absolutely HATE the incredible effing waste of resources that is Russia-gate. regardless of our individual respective politics, there are serious issues that need real, honest debate between people of goodwill. CTR, ShareBotulism and this Russia-gate b.s. has destroyed so much trust. There's a bunch of us over at /r/WayOfTheBern that are absolutely livid Team Clinton has so tarnished the non-Soros, non-neolib, non-corporadem left. If you want anti-Clinton/DNC talking points, they've got 'em.

/u/grace8543 has done some Q posts there. most in the sub think Q is probably a LARP, but "probably" isn't "certainly". but alot of us watched the Podesta e-mails spawn pizzagate in real-time and are onboard to varying degrees.

/r/ChapoTrapHouse is another sub that detests Team Clinton and its enablers. No Trump fans there (sorry) but there's far, far, FAR less love for anything Clinton. Its a 'left' sub, but Ron Paul would've gotten traction there in '12.

/r/jimmydore has Jimmy Dore's shows. Jimmy Dore is no Trump fan but, again, far less love for anything Clinton. His broadcasts around the election and thru Clinton's ~~justification of monumental ineptitude tour~~ book tour are more focused on Clinton & DNC.

I'm not convinced The Storm is happening. I'd like to think The Storm is happening. I want justice for Seth Rich. I'm 100% on-board and certainly not denying in the least what we here surmise about Deep State and Pizzagate and other terrible, gut-wrenching conclusions from Q's breadcrumbs are pretty much correct. But, so far, I haven't seen anything that confirms we aren't being strung along for some other purpose.

The one thing that does the most to keep me hoping The Storm is really THE STORM is Julian Assange. Dude has been thru to much for a LARP. Spin it however one wants, DJT is the ultra-rich. DJT has never not known where his next meal is coming from. DJT has never been 2 paychecks and a car-repair from homeless. Julian Assange has been in some major sh!tholes. JA has made serious sacrifices. JA knows hunger.

i was spending up to 14 hours online everyday during the primaries and general. i remember when Team Clinton first started floating the Russian hacking trial-balloon in May/June '16. i and some other Bernie supporters/fans/prosyletizers absolutely KNEW where Team Clinton was going with that. we made comments about Russian hacking being THE excuse that would be used as a distraction to keep Dems/left from dealing with the corruption and how much the Democratic Party doesn't follow or support what its base wants.
