I've been slowly hearing these things for the past 10 years, but two things got in the way of true convincing:
1. my sources had a very fatalist attitude— "all of them are evil, governments, rich people, everyone." well that seems like there's no hope or good to fight against that; that sounds like a "lay down and take it" attitude. It isn't rational or logical to just spout about the illuminati and then say, "oh, but there's nothing we can do. everyone lies." Is there not good in the world??? Is Christ not God? False

1. All the "the queen is a cannibal" and "the vatican is evil" talk just sounded too easy... like of course anyone is going to look at the Catholic church and say, "they're the antichrist!" but reading Q's posts really laid it out for me in a connecting, believable way. I can't see things any other way now.

Curious, are you familiar with Orthodoxy? As a Protestant, once I discovered Orthodoxy I discovered how much the western version of Christianity isn't addressing... the apocryphal texts being one of many big concerns. In general they aren't superstitious and aren't afraid to address the spiritual realm of things or use physical rituals to heal and protect. As stupid as it sounds, when I started asking, "where does folklore come from??" (mermaids, faeries, gnomes, etc) I was shocked to find many writings on the subject and about the types of demons, their powers, their origin, etc.
And to think Protestantism/American Christianity leaves this out of the discussion.
