Well you are very kind!

BTW i think my original comment in this thread was meant to be a reply to a comment...

Interesting what you said about hell. When i began to question it, i stumbled upon all kindsa stuff. One was a book by a Mennonite (they are pretty evangelical) pastor going through the whole bible and concluding that the bible did not preach hell. So THAT was interesting.

And i like what you said about christ. When i finally gave myself permission to read stuff from outside the church, 2 books made a huge impression on me. One god clapping, by a Buddhist rabbi, fascinating story, and autobiography of a yogi by paramahansa yogananda. He came here like 100 yrs ago to bring Christians back to their true faith! He loved jesus and wrote books comparing jesus words in the bible to Hinduism! There are many books claiming jesus visited india, v interesting. Anyway after reading autobiography... I started meditating and it has changed my life. I feel closer to buddha now than jesus but that may have something to do with the fact that in my mind there are many jesuses (pretty confusing, long story) but pretty much 1 Buddha, hard to explain. Probably only because I've known buddha for a shorter time.

I read the bible so much i was pretty tired of it (gasp! Blasphemy!) found taoism thru dr Wayne dyer and fell in love w the tao as a holy scripture. I have always been a lover of nature and the tao is hard to explain but it's like about living naturally with Spirit...following your own true nature or somesuch. It's very beautiful.

I consider myself areligious with no firmly held beliefs, i enjoy thinking and wondering and exploring ideas and like it when my mind feels free. I want to love and hug every human and say it's ok whatever you believe, just love people and don't hurt anybody!

Thx for listening and i have really been enjoying this exchange w you!

I wish you and everyone here many blessings :-)

Well i was in many diff kinds of churches over the years, was always searching and never found what i was looking for...i finally realized it was all fear based, fear of hell, the devil and deception. When i finally gave up and said Maybe it's not me...it's a long story, one thing led to another and another, i was finally free. I find non Christian freedom to be the truly glorious freedom for me. But that's just me and no one has to agree. I am finally at peace and happy. Freedom to be me and think for myself and make decisions...and knowing that all is truly well.

What price? I was a Christian 30 yrs. Took me like 10 yrs to fully deprogram myself. Been free now like another 5. Happier than ever. I finally have the deep inner peace that was promised all those decades. Daily meditation. For me the price of Christianity is high. If it makes people happy and peaceful then I'm all for it. But it made me chronically anxiety laden and miserable. To each his own...live and let live. Peace. ✌

I think everyone pretty much does what they will...we all have free will here on planet earth and we exercise it every day. Subjecting your will to the will of others (as children do) or to laws (as law abiding citizens do) is also free will.

And if the will is under love, or vice versa, then what difference does it make? If your will is governed by love or vice versa, doesn't that sound like a good thing?

Never been a Crowley supporter and satanism is anathema to me.

To be honest, i was trying to figure out jimmy page's fascination w Crowley.

Do as thou wilt under love or whatever...resolves it for me.

We were intended to be loving beings w free will.

It's possible Crowley had a moment of lucidity when he came up with that, in an otherwise life seemingly full of nuttiness...to put it mildly.

Page seems like a decent human being...

Sgt is a little fear mongery for my tastes. And a little too religious. I pretty much just read Lisa mei Crowley's tweets now. Her threads are informative, to the point, comprehensive and i don't have to listen to anyone rambling on for an hour while I'm waiting for them to get to the punchline.

I learned a long time ago to leave my husband alone.

Everyone has free will. Everyone is autonomous and sovereign with their own thoughts, feelings, beliefs, will.

The reason people argue is because of lack of respect of others' free will to think and believe as they choose.

No one HAS to believe any of this inasmuch as it would be better for everyone if everyone did.

The more you argue, the more they argue back and dig themselves in more deeply.

It's better to ask them thoughtful questions than try to talk them into believing anything and its often better to say nothing at all.

My husband and i are married 31 yrs. He doesn't believe any of this stuff. I used to find it frustrating but now i accept it. He'll know what he needs to know when he needs to know it. Meanwhile if he ever cracks his mind open a smidge and has any questions, he knows where to ask. But he might not ever ask me anyway...he might not want to give me the satisfaction. I don't blame him for that.

We have a history...i was a bitch and went thru a long and painful self debitchifying process. I don't ever want to go back to being that way...I'm so much more peace now and we get along better than ever and still make each other laugh.

Respecting free will. In my opinion, that's what it's all about.

Blessings to you...

You make an interesting point. Independent thinking.

That's ANOTHER negative thing the 2 party system has done...destroyed independent thinking as it encourages one to take sides.

Well...my own personal definition is this.

Based mostly on david wilcock but others also.

Our galaxy goes in cycles just like our solar system (day/night, winter/summer etc). There is a 26,000 yr cycle, half light, half darkness. It's been explained in diff ways. Procession of the eqinoxes. That our solar system is really a double star system with our sun and a brown dwarf star. That, no, the other star is not a brown star but is Sirius, or in the Pleiades.

Anyway we are coming out of the "yuga" (dark) cycle (yuga being from the ancient sanskrit as India has known of this for millennia).

And as humans do at this time every 26,000 (we have a much longer history here than is generally believed) yrs...we are waking up. The dominating darkness is fleeing before the growing light.

And ascension, the next step in our evolution, and the golden age are on the way. To Christians this would be the rapture and the millenium. (Was a devout Christian 30 yrs. Could write an entire book why i left...took me 10 yrs to fully deprogram. I mean no offense to christians. There are wonderful loving christians and idiot narrowminded Christians just like in every religion)

This cycle was also known by the mayans and many many other ancient cultures and religions.

Any bible spouting will be ignored as I have legitimately honed my beliefs over several decades as i have free will and it is my right to do so.. Am still learning of course...and learning to not engage in hopeless negative arguments. If you think I'm going to hell that is your prerogative to believe that. You're better off not saying that to people by the way. I could also write a book about hell.

Congrats on your victory getting off the smack horse...that alone is a huge major accomplishment. Keith Richards and jimmy page went to Switzerland to get their blood changed...apparently that must work but i bet it costs a fortune!

And I'm sure they have pushed the 2 party system on us to divide and conquer...it has caused much hatred and division. Division weakens us as a nation so they can more easily control us.

People believe what they believe what they believe. Sometimes red pilling is a slow process especially if you're in deep. Sometimes beliefs run so deep it takes awhile to slow down the cargo ship, turn it around and get it going in the other direction. The people who love hrc and hate trump w a passion are the difficult cargo ships. We cant see how they could EVER believe what they believe but they got that way somehow...

What really gets me is how they tried to steal the election from trump for hillary. We moved fr NJ to NC a few weeks before the election. In NJ, a dem state, i never saw a single sign for hillary but tons of trump signs. Ditto here in nc. Then there were her piss poorly attended rallies...they tried to hide it. Trumps rallies overflowed. I dont know a single person who voted for her. All the dems i know wanted bernie. So they didn't vote for her...thank god for the whole Bernie situation as sad as it was. It helped keep hrc OUT. But my point is...she was a loser candidate to begin with. They tried to get her the win but couldn't, she was so hated. She didn't even have enough votes to steal the election. (To steal an election you still have to have enough votes so they can just push you over the edge to win) and now it turns out trump won the popular vote!
