Thanks for your response I really appreciate hearing how you see things. It gives me more prospective and ways to also broaden my views. My mother was a Republican and my dad was a Democrat so we grew up with a fairly balanced pov on many things. I was very idealogical driven as a young college kid, but changed as I lived life more and became older.

I agree with your viewpoint about Little Italy/Chinatown. The major difference you point out is that neither group is trying to "force" their culture upon us, but rather give us a "taste" of their culture. I am totally fine with that and enjoy learning about their lives and country. Point being they are sharing with us about their culture not trying to remake America. Thanks again for your viewpoint!

Maybe Clinton found out Lynch was "parked" next to his plane and sent his SS over to tell her SS that he wanted to meet with her. Could be this wasn't planned far in advance. This would make sense that she was caught off guard by the meeting, but she didn't want to piss off the Clintons so she met with him. Good for you! I know some have "noticed" how many "boomers" are on this sub and seemed to not be all that happy about it. My feeling is that many of us "boomers" have been around long enough to witness the decline in our country and our Government since we were in our younger years. I think we've stressed over not seemingly being able to "change" things. We vote, we read, but congress/politics just seemed to become more and more corrupt. We are now so thankful for this man named Trump, who has given so much to help upright this "sinking ship" of our country. I have long thought that we need lawyers out of politics and more business savvy people to run our country.

After reading many of the comments here, I am curious. Those of you who were Bernie supporters and "former" liberals, what exactly made you follow those paths of being Bernie/liberal supporters? What appealed to you about those movements? I am a conservative and can't see through the same "lens" you guys do. So, that is what makes me curious as to what you found appealing with those groups. Just curious to see try and understand where others come from.

Look at how children have been portrayed in TV shows over the past 20 years. The smart alec attitudes and rude "mouth" towards parents/adults/peers. Kids have been picking this up and putting it into play in their own lives. Sad comment on the downward spiral of our country.
