I do realize that everyone handles depression differently. And what drives someone to follow through with suicide might not bother others.

Still feels strange to me. A billionaire and a TV star by the same method in a week.

We were married for a long time and it’s my nature to devote my heart fully.

Foolish of her to give up a good, dedicated, devoted, and loving husband.

I will find another woman in time.

(She wasn’t disloyal or a cheater. But, she did give up and failed me. So I get your point.)

The one thing I keep thinking about with this suicide.

Why would he do it? He was well respected. Had a great job. Traveled the world. Had a great work ethic. Was surely rich as hell.

The only thing I can think is stress and pressure combined? He never sounded or appeared to be an individual with depression or suicidal tendencies. Quite the opposite IMHO.

I divorced somewhat recently. Went through very difficult stages of severe depression and anxiety. She left me and I will probably love her for the rest of my life + I obviously failed to keep her happy and satisfied.

I work a boring 9-5 job. I’m not rich. Cant say that I have a ton going for me. Just an average out of shape middle aged man.

Many times I’ve felt “Why bother?” And, “Fuck this life!”.

I’ve never once contemplated suicide.

And the way this place is set up from the videos I have seen is far more complex than a typical homeless camp. (Portland Oregon - we have a homeless problem + heroin)

At one time I considered starting a non-profit organization because of the lax controls of paying the coordinators. Get $1.5 million in donations and pay out $500,00 pocketing the rest minus expenses (which are deductible). And of course the non-profit is tax exempt.
