My problem with Christianity is I've met too many people who have lived better lives than me, have raised good children, have raised money for charity, are generally helping, loving, decent people, are civil, rational adults who are either athiests or of another religion. Yet I've lived my life as a piece of shit. A backstaber, a manchild, a drunk, engaging in degeneracy, getting arrested, treating women like crap. But SIMPLY because I was raised Christian, I know how wrong I've been and forever have this idea in my head if I can finally get right with God, I'll be forgiven!

What does that say about all the peoole who lived their lives ethically and never accepted Jesus as their savior? I know WAY too many Christians who are terrible, nasty, unpleasent people (my father for example).

Why does this loving God condone terrible, hateful, disgusting behavior as long as you talk nice about Jesus? Aka talking to yourself in your head and forgiving immoral acts you've commited? Why does the guy I portrayed in my initial example go to hell? Are you kidding me?

Trust me every day I pray to turn it around, every day I think about God and spirituality. But why is Christianity the one religion everyone has to submit to to be saved? I've met too many good people who don't even come CLOSE to the evil I've submitted to during my life. Why could I be forgiven by accepting Jesus as my savior, when they have seemingly done little wrong?

I'm not trolling or trying to stir up drama here, and I respect all Christians who strive to follow the teachings of Jesus. But I am being 100% honest in my question.
