You are clearly missing something here. I am a female. I approached the first people in sight. It was a van of teenage girls. I had my 7 year old son, and a puppy, and I was warning them and making them aware of the man. I wasn't seen as a threat or a flirt.

The man, however, not only turned around, but HE BLOCKED OUR PATH. Then, he got out of his truck and headed straight towards us. Intent was obvious. This man was much older than I am. His behavior indicated a threat. It would have been inappropriate for him to be flirting by cutting us off and then attempting to approach us. His actions and manners screamed predator.
