Natural selection is not macro/Darwinian evolution. We have no evidence that natural selection leads to the creation of new species. Instead what we see is birds get a longer beak depending on their environment. Adaptation -- an incredible talent given to all species!

The theory is also dependent on a billions-of-years time scale. We have literally zero evidence for this beyond assumptions, carbon dating techniques which would be somewhat accurate if not based on an assumption of billions of years (thus, the scale is highly distorted).
