Today:
Bought 10 days worth of dry food.
Bought some more iodine tablets.
Filled up the tank in my car +20 extra gallons.
Cleaned my weapons.
Packed my bug out bags.
I will defend my home as long as possible but will head for the mountains if the shit hits the fan. I will be able to survive until Summer at the least.
Yeah, I have some extra food as well I can take if I decide to bug out. I know some good remote spots to go to live off of game and fish within 120 miles.
Well, it will depend on the conditions. Might drive as far as I can but I am an experienced backpacker so I can ditch the vehicle if I have to.
Without electricity, the woods would not be much worse. You would have access to fish/game and be more secure assuming you are remote. Unlimited supply of wood for fire. Bring tarps and rope as well.
