In that sense... Moses was the original "archetype." See the Book of Exodus.

The “Golden Rule” was nothing new (see Leviticus 19:18).

>Deuteronomy 6:5

And you shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart and with all your soul, and with all your means.

>Praise the Eternal Sovereign, our Holy Creator!

Your point is understood. I would like to emphasize that the characteristics you mentioned of JC are all embodiments of inherent teachings of the Torah, the origins of which predate all other religions. JC perhaps best exemplified those teachings for the rest of the world to follow; though, if the false theology attributed to him were discarded, it would solve many of the religious contentions regarding him. Ultimately our purpose in life is to serve God, the question is how? With the Torah as the answer (given by God), and JC as the example, we have all that we need to fulfill it.

Think more about it. The Sun sets, and as the night grows, and the angel of light on the Moon turns. That can only happen if the Sun is going around the Earth sphere, since we know in other parts of the world, the Sun is still up. Timezones...

= round Earth

I would say that Hillel was basing that teaching off of Leviticus 19:18 "...you shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord."

Regarding free will, it is implicitly evident in every life recorded in the Torah, starting with Adam and Eve (or even the angels, if one wants to really be deductive). Every individual makes choices in their life that either have favor from God or not, that have good consequences or not. In my opinion, free will is a "given" not necessarily a specific teaching. It is part of God having made us in His image as a self conscious being.

The Moon does revolve around us slower than the Sun, that's why there are the phases of the Moon. When the orbits align in certain ways, we have eclipses. See this diagram for a better visual:

No, but it does insinuate that totally wicked people can be "blinded" in order to be lead to their destruction. Such as the instance of Pharaoh during the Exodus, when he was faced with obvious miracles of God, yet still "hardened his heart" and did not let the Israelites leave.

Some say Thoth was Enoch (7th generation after Adam), which if true, means his knowledge was passed onto Noah and his sons who survived the flood, and eventually to Egypt (who was from Mizraim, son of Ham, son of Noah). The problem is that Thoth is idolized as a 'god' of Egypt however God is One and there are none beside him.

God can communicate with us, and create visions or thoughts, but not "control our mind" (we maintain individuality and free will). Similarly, demons or evil spirits can tempt us with negative thoughts/illusions which we either entertain or reject, though if we stay close to God, those evil spirits will not disturb us.
