From Kindergarten on, you're taught that that state TV is the only reliable news source, because they're technically required to be impartial. Of course, they're not, given that their top staff is picked by politicians.
You pretty much have to be /pol/ tier to get past that bit of the basic German condition that is trust in state media. That shit sits DEEP.
