They do come in batches, sometimes overlap... maybe they function as a countdown (re: signals for others than pol), and have to appear (x) number of times?

Yes for the meanings, but that has been/is being searched.
I'm thinking numbering them like was done for the spreadsheet - hey if a txt pastebin of the spreadsheet could be outputed once in a while that'd be great, easier to read/archive.
also it would be useful to have the list of Q text w numbered questions, for reference here/in conversation (i.e. without quoting i could say refer to Q1203)...
i would apply alphanumeric code to signatures (alice01, alice02 etc) so then we can really get cooking and have those patterns pop
i was thinking we could work backwards from a separate copy of the spreadsheet, can that be copied easily or have to start a new one?

yes, good there is just the one spreadsheet, i was thinking making a copy of it (because lazyness/efficiency: i always work from a copied excel doc at work for example)
with a copy, i could without putting any info at risk strip it down to bare minimum text/numbers
