The legends of Sumeria (a post flood nation) were records of what Noah and his sons experienced and passed on, but were distorted due to a few generations having elapsed, and also because of the reemergence of idolatry.
The Book of Genesis is the Divine record from Moses that recalls the full History from Creation to Adam to Israel (according to God, not the Sumerians). Beyond that, events were recorded in the Hebrew Bible such as in Joshua, Judges, etc. and from that point on we can correlate with other Historical documents and knowledge to have a complete timeline of History. If we realize that radioactive dating is not genuinely capable of dating anything beyond several thousand years, and that "deep time" theories about the the Universe, Earth, and evolution, are only theories that are promoted primarily by biased anti-religious scientists. We have a genuine Historical document called the Torah which allows us to know our History. All else is speculation, or at worst, astral delusion.
BTW, as per your response in the thread in #473. The Ark of the Covenant is not "DNA." That does not make sense in the context of what the Ark was and its role in the Tabernacle. There are clear descriptions of how to build it.
